Dinner

A man was once sitting down to a great feast. As he was tucking his napkin into his collar his wife entered the room and said to him, "You have been away for a long time. Your children are hungry, in fact they are starving to death!"
The man, because he loved his children, called them in to himself and shared his food until they were all full.

Another man was sitting down to a great feast. As he was tucking his napkin into his collar he heard scratching at the door. He looked out through the window and saw that their were hungry dogs whimpering and begging from the smell of the food. The man was tired and hungry from his days work so he sat down and began to eat. As he finished each section of meat, he would go to the door and force the leftover bone through the mail slot and then return to his feast. He hoped that the bones would quiet the dogs, and his feelings of guilt.

The next night, there were more dogs and more noise.
